Almus Pharmaceuticals Launches a New Range Of OTC Medicine for Community Pharmacy

Almus Pharmaceuticals is pleased to announce the launch of a new range of over the counter medicines for Community Pharmacy. This range is being launched in conjunction with UniChem Ltd, the UK wholesale business of Alliance Boots, and is available now.

The new Almus® range of OTC medicines offers a high standard of quality products, offering improved value for money for pharmacists and consumers. The range also builds on the award-winning success and brand recognition of the Almus® range of generic medicines, including strong and distinctive colour packaging incorporating full-colour illustrations and markings to enable both pharmacists and patients to easily differentiate products and distinguish product lines.

Strong colour bands also detail the pharmaceutical name, form, product description and strength on three sides of each pack, to allow the product to be easily identified whichever way it is displayed on the pharmacy shelf. The packaging also displays the ‘P’ icon which highlights the ‘pharmacy only’ status of medicines, illustrating implementation of best practice.

The Almus® range of OTC medicines currently available for the UK market includes analgesics, allergy relief treatments, gastro-intestinal medicines and women’s health products.
