UniChem Confirms Oman as Venue for 2008 Convention

UniChem is pleased to confirm Muscat, Oman, as the venue for its 2008 customer Convention.

The venue was confirmed following a vote cast by delegates of this year’s convention, which recently took place on the island of Barbados. Delegates were offered three options for venues, of which the results of the poll confirmed Oman as the winner, with approximately three-quarters of the vote.

The 2008 event will take place between 13 – 20 October, at the exclusive Barr Al Jissah Resort and Spa Hotel, which is located on the Barr Al Jissah Bay, close to the ancient city of Muscat and within easy access of local shopping and cultural attractions.

Jeremy Main, Chief Commercial Officer and Convention Director, UniChem, comments: “We wanted to give our customers the opportunity to decide the venue for the 2008 Convention, to ensure that they could get the most out of the week long event, both in terms of the proposed business sessions and the extensive social programme. Oman will be a fantastic venue and I’m confident that, as in previous years, the 2008 Convention will offer another terrific week for our delegates.”
